The vendor is required to provide translation services on an as requested basis:
1. Translation from english to French
• Provide to the agency, within set deadlines high-quality and professional english-to-French translation services involving legal and specialized texts on various aspects of the broadcasting, telecommunications and compliance and enforcement, legal, and, consumer, analytics and strategy sectors.
• The version submitted for translation is considered final.
• The contractor shall only provide translation and proofreading services on the translation itself.
• No editing or rewriting of the source content is required
• Ensure the French translation of original documents, the integration of changes made by agency staff, and the harmonization and verification of these changes with other pertinent documents that have previously been translated.
• Research may be required to undertake a translation.
• Translations may include reports, tables and diagrams.
• The product returned to agency must be in its final form and must have undergone a quality control review.
• The translation must accurately reflect the content, style, tone and form of the original document.
• The approach and structure of the source text must be mirrored in the translated version to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Ensure that there is a plan to continue service delivery in a time of business disruption as described above.
