- Requirements
• Rush and emergency services must be available within 24 hours, confirm this can be done
• Interpreter’s services for the following top thirteen (13) language groups as well as other as required: Spanish, Tagalong, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Ukrainian, Assyrian, Tamil Korean Hindi, Russian.
• American Sign Language, written translation and verbal interpreters (i.e. utilize interpreters who have been screened, language proficiency tested and trained to a standard such as interpreter training in the ministry of citizenship and immigration core language interpreter training curriculum)
• Multi-language support services personnel (i.e. multilingual educational psychologists, multilingual social workers, multilingual speech and language pathologists) to assist psychologists, social workers and speech pathologists with families in the community for both verbal and written translation services
• Translation and interpretive services prior to services commencing;
• Written translation service for documents and media press releases.
