Student Health, Medical Billing and Coding Services

The vendor is required to provide that student health, medical billing and coding services purchasing department on behalf of the vice president for student services.
- The instructions governing the proposal to be submitted and the material to be included therein; mandatory requirements which must be met to be eligible for consideration; and other requirements to be met by each proposal.
- The university will provide the building, facility maintenance, and utilities
- Custodial and general facility maintenance can be an option addressed in the final contract.
- Student health services—student wellness center:
• The successful health care provider will provide medical treatment and prevention for students and their dependents, similar to the services of a family physician. services to be delivered are:
oPhysical examinations, pap smears, etc.
oDiagnosis and treatment of illness
oInjury treatment and follow-up care
oHealth education/counseling and pamphlets
oDiagnostic laboratory and radiology services
oImmunizations
oFamily planning education and birth control
oEmergency medical assistance
oMentoring students from the health sciences and social work programs to help support the workforce
- The provision of medical services, the successful provider will assign all coding, process billing and insurance, collection, accounting, reconcilement and reporting to the university.
- Statement of work:
• The facility is located at 1060 orchard, but the university has a desire to relocate to another building that is within walking distance from the main campus.
• The university would welcome a partnership in remodeling a building or for providing new construction for a facility to house and provide services for the next generation of university students.
• Provisional licenses or full licensure and are in good standing with state department of regulatory agency will provide behavioral health services to students.
• Providers with provisional licensure and who require supervision, they must be supervised by an approved supervisor.
• Graduate level students completing a practicum or internship are allowed with appropriate supervision and agreement with graduate school.
• Agency will be held as part of establishing the student wellness center as a center of excellence
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
