Online Personal Credit Reporting Services

The Vendor is required to provide online personal credit reporting services.
- Office requires an employment credit report subscription service to provide online individual history and credit information.
- This is a standard credit check for employment with the Sheriff's Office.
- Perform these services only from or at locations within the geographical boundaries of the country.
- Credit reports shall be run from reputable credit bureaus such as Experian, Equifax, or Transunion
- Provide a sample report showing format and report information.
- Credit report shall provide at a minimum the following information:
• Full name plus former names and known aliases (when available).
• Up to three addresses (with dates reported).
• Applicant's Social Security Number shall be verified for assured accuracy.
• Up to three last-reported employers along with verification of employment dates (when available).
• File content including public records, account statuses, and other information summarized for evaluation at a glance.
• A separate public record/other information section containing courthouse records and collection items along with dates, amounts, and outstanding balances.
• A complete listing of credit account activity disclosing the scope of an applicant's debt obligations, current account statuses, and historical payment performance.
• A two-year record of inquiries identifying creditors who have reviewed the applicant's credit file with review dates. (Inquiry alter if three or more inquiries occurred within the past 90 days).
- Credit Check Error Correction
• All applicants must be given the opportunity to correct errors on credit check reports.
• Each report shall provide the credit reporting agency's address and telephone number for consumer contact (to be used on adverse action or declination letters).
• Subsequent corrected reports must be provided to the Department at no extra charge.
