- Functions of this site will include:
• A content management system that allows city staff to routinely update and make changes to website layout band entries.
• A homepage displaying a visual representation and text explaining the history and importance of the monument with space to note all key partners with their logos and space for a feature video.
• Seven sections linked from the homepage corresponding to each of the monument’s themed sections
• Linked short entries for each of the monument’s featured individuals and places.
• Space for links to important local historical resources and relevant community organizations - Provide an immersive, user-friendly, seamlessly adaptable experience across all platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Site must be compatible with current versions of Microsoft edge, Firefox, chrome, and safari browsers.
- The site should be developed to meet all current federally mandated ADA web content accessibility requirements.
- Guidelines should also be easily accessible to the novice as well as the experienced internet user.
- The website must be designed with a mix of text and graphics such that each page loads in a way that is acceptable to the typical user having an average internet connection speed.
