The Vendor is required to provide to transform its website knowledge platform with key features such as an interactive publications page, event calendar, e-learning modules, and community engagement tools.
- Redesign the homepage to make it more editorial
- Develop a login system to allow users to create accounts with a dedicated space to store and follow different content
- Develop a Publications page as an interactive library with advanced search, filtering, and user engagement tools
- Develop an Events page integrating an interactive calendar with an email notification system
- Develop an E-learning module with a registration and certification system, and a community forum for discussions
- Enhance the user experience (UX), SEO, and accessibility of the website
- Improve the back office by developing a dashboard to manage website performance
- Support agency in translating the entire website into French, Spanish, and Russian.
- Services include:
1. Homepage redesign
• Create a modern and editorial-style homepage to highlight agency latest content
• Implement a dynamic content display for recent news published on the website
• Ensure seamless navigation and improved readability
2. Development of the publications page
• design and develop an interactive library for agency publications
• implement advanced search and filtering options (by theme, document type, author, date, region, etc.)
• Develop a dedicated page for each publication with the following:
○ Title, summary, author(s), publication date
○ Pdf download and/or html interactive format
○ Related publications suggestions
○ A button “contact the author”
○ Social media sharing options
• Create an option for users to save and bookmark publications
3. Development of an event calendar
• Implement a dynamic event calendar with upcoming and past events
• Enable user registration and integration with email notifications
• Store event recordings and allow replays with key highlights
4. Development of an e-learning module
• Implement a structured e-learning module with different themes
• Enable user registration and tracking of progress
• Develop a certification system for course completion
• Integrate a discussion forum for peer learning and expert engagement
5. User login system & personalization
• Implement a secure login system for users aligned with the existing World Bank system
• Allow users to save and track their preferred content (publications, courses, and events)
6. Enhancements to website UX, SEO & performance
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Improve website loading speed and accessibility (compliance with WB standards)
• Implement a search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for better content discoverability
7. Back office & website management dashboard
• Develop a dashboard for administrators to monitor website performance
• Enable event registrations management (export excel files with participants data)
• Integrate analytics tracking to measure user engagement
8. Multilingual support
• Support full website translation into French, Spanish, and Russian (tbc)
• Ensure language switch functionality across all content and features
9. Assistance in the live production:
• With the support of agency communication team, ensure that the website responds to the World Bank content clearance and security rules and constraints
• Ensure a short training to agency main administrator of the website to teach him/her how to manage the new features developed on the website.
