The Vendor is required to provide for an official off-campus housing website for its county campuses with future expansion to the county area.
- Provide on-going support and service including hosting and building the website and marketing the website through targeted advertising.
- Required to develop and host the official off-campus housing website for the city campuses and the associated data, tables, and login pages created for university’s use as part of the proprietary licensed software marketed by offeror.
- Build with the application a searchable database for the listing of off-campus properties available to university’s students, with search fields customized for university’s neighborhoods and terminology.
- Must work with university’s designated technology to embed the technology in university’s existing website, maintaining the “look and feel” of university’s website when users link to the hosted service.
- Must market for university the official off-campus housing website to prospective property listers through targeted advertising which may include, but is not limited to, local advertising, direct mail, phone calls, and face to-face sales visits.
- Must set rates for advertising and must handle all correspondence and must be solely responsible for all collection policies and any disputes which may arise due to an error on the part of the offeror.
- Required to use discretion in sale of ads.
- University will have the right to review, approve, amend, and reject ads.
- Responsible for obtaining advertisers’ approval of ads prior to posting.
- For informational purposes only, offeror will be required to provide university a copy of the ad contract and rate schedule prior to the solicitation and sale of any ads.
- Ensure inclusion in the customized site of (a) message boards for the posting of roommate and furniture needs, (b) housing materials submitted by university for digital posting, such materials possibly to include university’s off-campus housing handbook and a checklist for
prospective tenants, and (c) property listing fields that accommodate up to three (3) photos or graphic images of listed properties and link to maps, and property manager e-mails.
- Jointly with university, offeror must develop a user agreement that, among its provisions, (i) disclaims responsibility for, and highlights the absence of, any recommendation or guarantee with respect to any property listing or physical property, and (ii) requires user compliance with the fair housing act.
- Must provide product support to university and users via a customer service e-mail account.
- Must regularly install technology upgrades to the hosted servers as soon as generally available so that university receives the benefit of all enhancements and improvements to the technology.
- Notify university by e-mail of any upgrades that affect functionality.
- Must perform regular daily backups of site data.
- Must provide tool to university to generate quarterly reports on site statistics to include, at a minimum, the number of subscriber and property listings.
