The Vendor is required to provide a qualified web design and marketing consultant to develop an aesthetically appealing, resource-centric website using the neon one website platform for port.
- Provide professional web design and development services and collaborate closely with agency, port, neon one, and other stakeholders.
- The new website will be built on Neon One, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that supports nonprofit organizations.
- Core Deliverables
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to define goals, objectives, opportunities, and challenges
• Design and develop a customized website (up to 25 pages) with an in-depth sitemap
• Ensure compatibility with all browsers and devices
• Ensure full compatibility with Neon One solutions and platforms (CRM, CCM, Neon Fundraise, and Neon Pay)
• Establish new neon one website content management system design templates
• Develop and design new visual aesthetics and user-centered features
• Meet all cybersecurity, accessibility, and legal compliance requirements
• Provide or integrate SEO, SEM, and web performance services
• Integrate website language options or translation features
• Develop and integrate third-party sites, apps, and forms
• Install analytics tools to monitor site performance
• Provide training, maintenance, and support for at least one year after site launch, with an option to extend support for a second year
- Website Hosting Requirements
• The service provider shall review the current host solution and ensure that the hosting environment includes at a minimum:
• 100 GB of storage
• 500 GB of bandwidth
• 5 GB of RAM
• Unique, secure administrative logins
• Staging, preview, and test capabilities
• Free website migration services
• 24/7 customer support and training
• SSL certificates for websites
- Browser and Device Compatibility
• The website must function consistently across:
• Desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.)
• Major operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) - Third-Party Integration
• The website must incorporate neon one’s built-in features and integrate third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
• Social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Audio and video media (Vimeo, YouTube, Dail Motion, Soundcloud, Mixcloud)
• Marketing and communications connectors (Google Analytics, Google Maps, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, SMTP)
• Third-party integrations should align visually and functionally with the primary website.
- Accessibility and ADA Compliance
- The website must comply with applicable accessibility laws and standards, including:
• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
• Texas Administrative Code Sections 206 and 213
• World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 and 2.1, level AA)
- Accessibility requirements include:
• Full support for HTML, CSS, and W3C standards
• Text alternatives for non-text content
• Assistive technology compatibility
• Full keyboard accessibility
• Avoidance of overlay widgets or AI-generated accessibility tools
• Error suggestions and alternatives for user input
• Annual accessibility audits.
