The Vendor is required to provide to redesign and refresh our current website.
- This redesign are to:
• Promote upcoming events and programs more effectively.
• Provide a seamless, user-friendly ticket purchasing experience through integration with the spektrix ticketing system API.
• Showcase the center’s cultural and community impact.
• Reflect the center’s values and mission in a visually compelling and accessible format for the community and potential funders.
- The website is currently built on WordPress, and the College prefers to maintain this platform.
- The redesigned site must feature a user-friendly content management system (CMS) that allows internal staff to easily update content.
- Robust analytics capabilities are required to support performance tracking and the evaluation of digital marketing campaigns, particularly those on social media and paid advertising platforms.
- The current website includes 53 published pages and utilizes the events calendar plugin to manage 140–170 event listings, depending on the season.
- Modern design: deliver a visually compelling, contemporary website that is competitive with other performing arts venues and accessible to users of all ages and technical abilities.
- Comprehensive event information: ensure patrons can easily access essential event details, including but not limited to: ticket pricing, event descriptions, venue with directions, show images and video, sponsors, and event-specific reminders or notices.
• Additionally, patrons can easily search for upcoming events based on their interests and locate essential attendance policies and procedures.
- Seamless ticketing integration: integrate the spektrix ticketing system, creating a user-friendly purchase path for patrons and eliminating redundant administrative tasks for the staff.
- Mission-driven storytelling: effectively communicate the center’s mission and community impact to engage patrons, donors, and stakeholders.
- The redesigned website must include:
• Platform compatibility: the website must be compatible with WordPress updates and vendor-recommended plugins over time.
• it will provide a flexible framework for future growth, including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence integration and website personalization leveraging AI technologies.
• Legal and accessibility compliance: the website must comply with all applicable legislation and standards, including:
○ Web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA (the technical standard for state and local governments’ web content and mobile apps)
• Ticketing integration: seamless integration of the spektrix API is required to provide an intuitive and efficient ticket-buying experience for patrons.
• Responsive design: the website must be fully responsive and optimized for performance across all devices and screen sizes.
• Brand alignment: the design must reflect the center’s unique brand identity while acknowledging its affiliation with and oversight by college.
• Search engine optimization (SEO): the website must be optimized for search engine visibility and performance, addressing on-page, off-site, and technical SEO.
• It should incorporate the latest trends, including visual search optimization.
• Performance standards: the website must adhere to universal design principles and meet Google’s standards for fast load times and mobile performance.
• Analytics and tracking: integration with google tag manager and support for ad tracking codes is required to evaluate the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns.
• Hosting and maintenance: the website will be hosted on college’s servers and jointly maintained by the college’s web services team and the center for the arts marketing team.
• Content migration and SEO preservation: all existing content must be migrated to the new platform with URL stability maintained to preserve current SEO rankings. Necessary redirects must be implemented to avoid broken links.
• Staff training: the selected vendor must provide comprehensive training for staff on managing and updating the new website.
