The vendor is required to provide website redesign, development, and implementation services utilizing an open-source content management system (CMS), such as WordPress.

• User-friendly navigation with clear information architecture (menus and submenus organized by rider needs)
• Fast loading (see goal above) and modern, responsive design (mobile-first for android and iOS)

• Meet WCAG 2.1 aa and ADA agency title vi expectations
3. Core rider tools
• Schedules, fares, maps, rider policies and guides
• Service alerts (disruptions, detours) and event calendar
• Robust site search
• Public feedback portal (forms and surveys) with routing to agency inbox(es)
• Social media integration (e.g., Twitter and X; Facebook optional as directed)
4. Real-time and data integrations
• Bus tracking via swiftly API (or current agency real-time provider)
• Trip planner using open web resources and interactive system map
• Clear access to GIS resources where applicable
5. Careers and HR
• Prominent careers section integrated with Paylocity (or current applicant tracking system): simple “find and apply” flow from agency site to ats; avoid burying links in submenus
6. Language and translation
• Built-in translation (e.g., google translate integration) to support common community languages (e.g., Spanish, French, and others as confirmed)
7. Payments (as directed)
• Support integration with agency chosen method (e.g., token transit and QR).
8. Optional features
• Chatbot (optional): while not a required feature, agency is open to reviewing proposals that include a chatbot solution.
- Content management system (CMS)
• Safe, easily scalable, and useable by content editors who have minimal to no experience with coding.
• Website development project must not be prevented by the CMS.
• Making the website safer by adding protections that reduce the risk of hackers, data breaches, or unwanted access
• Training requirement: the selected vendor must provide hands-on training for three (3) designated agency staff members for a minimum of two 2-hour sessions plus post-launch Q&A support.
• Provide a user guide and documentation for reference after training.
• After training, agency internal team will manage all future updates and content changes without vendor support.

• Incorporate the slogan “driven” in design.
• Maintain agency color scheme (black, red, yellow) and ensure contrast and accessibility compliance
• Modern, minimalist, sustainable design - clean layouts and clear hierarchy.
