Website Redesign and Upgrade Services

The Vendor is required to provide a complete redesign and rebuild of its website which includes migrating the website off of the wix platform on to a WordPress platform.
- Contractor will need conduct a full UX and visual design overhaul to modernize the website’s structure, improve accessibility, and create a cohesive, responsive design system.
- This effort will ensure that the new WordPress site not only functions smoothly but also provide a clear, inclusive, and engaging experience, while visually consistent for users across all devices, especially mobile devices.
- Provide Following Regarding Design Strategy and Research
•    Conduct stakeholder interviews and light user research
•    Establish accessibility and responsive design requirements
•    Define interaction patterns and creative direction (ex: moodboards, tone, style) Information Architecture & Content Strategy
•    Audit and organize existing content
•    Create a new sitemap and navigation structure
•    Define templates, taxonomies, and categories for WordPress
•    Clarify contributor workflows and content governance
- UX/UI Design & Prototyping
•    Create wireframes and mockups to define layout and hierarchy
•    Build an interactive prototype to validate user flows
•    Conduct iterative reviews and refinements with stakeholders Design System & Style Guide
•    Define colors, typography, spacing, and accessibility standards
•    Build reusable components and interaction states in Figma
•    Document styles for consistency and long-term scalability
•    Update mid-fidelity mockups to final, hi-fidelity versions
- Configure GitHub Repository
•    Initialize GitHub repository
•    Create 'master' and 'develop' branches
•    Create ssh keys for server
•    Sync GitHub repo to server for deployment
- Configure & Setup Server
•    Setup accounts for dev, stage and prod
•    Configure environments for latest PHP version
•    Configure databases for dev, stage and prod environments
•    Deploy code from GitHub
- Install & Configure Plugins for Development
•    Advanced Custom Fields PRO (license required)
•    Word fence Security
•    WP Migrate
•    WPS Hide Login
- Configure Custom Theme for Development
•    Install core TW theme
•    Create child theme to extend the core theme
•    Activate child theme (WP admin > appearance > themes)
- Develop Stylesheet and Scripts
•    Load web pack for managing sass and JS
•    Setup the sass and CSS stylesheets
•    Create global styling (fonts, colors, general elements) based on approved design system
•    Setup the JS script files
