RFP Description

The vendor required to provide web-based hydrologic information portal services for ongoing operation and maintenance.
- Automate data updates and integrate data sources
•    Update new API endpoints, and swap out any API endpoints that are automatically being pulling from older data points.
•    Provide any other updates to existing layers and datasets as requested.
•    Provide quarterly user statistics summaries derived from google analytics data for the client.
- Provide new feature services
•    Create a limited number of new data layers, and stand-up new services (less than four), as feasible within annual budget projections.
•    Deploy updates and additions via QA, staging, and production during the period of the contract on an as needed basis, and at the direction of the client.
•    Improve the user interface and accessibility during both staging and production when possible.
•    Conduct comprehensive testing of new features to ensure they meet project requirements.
•    Continue to evaluate and implement new technologies and tools for streamlining the deployment process and reducing downtime.
- Operational support and bug fixes
•    Maintain existing layers, and provide operational support and bug fixes for the entire whip application.
•    Address and resolve any errors in production, including those related to the server and cloud infrastructure.
•    Track incidents such as browser compatibility and data display within project ticketing and management systems and address promptly. 
•    Conduct comprehensive testing of bug fixes to ensure they meet project requirements. 
•    Address questions about the architecture or capabilities of the whip by the client, and provide a limited number (2-3) of online whip demonstrations at stakeholder meetings or other events annually as requested.
- Code maintenance
•    Provide regular code maintenance for the whip back end, including regular maintenance of all instances with the whip infrastructure, and the provisioning of regular data backups. 
•    Maintain all source code in GitHub, which can be within the USPP GitHub account.
