The Vendor is required to provide web design services to design the university online website.
- Design the site to be mobile-first, with full functionality across devices and screen sizes.
- Design site navigation to serve the distinct needs of prospective online students, including access to online program information, and integrate data received via a request for information form into Salesforce.
- Provide editable, accessible templates and a governance structure for site maintenance by non-technical staff.
- Apply intuitive design principles, including clear hierarchy, typography, iconography, and plain language.
- Implement tools to monitor site usage, track user behavior, and gather feedback for iterative updates.
- Provide intuitive tools for prospective students to explore programs, filter courses, and understand degree and credential pathways.
- Create a streamlined, intuitive, persona-based website that meets the direct needs of prospective online students. The redesigned site should provide clear pathways to essential information, support services, and academic resources, ensuring ease of navigation and a positive user experience.
- Align the website with the University official style guide, branding standards, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA). The new site should reflect the university System's visual identity, voice, and commitment to an inclusive and accessible digital environment for all users.
- Develop and implement a program discovery tool with advanced search and filtering capabilities.
- Build the site on the university content management system that allows non-technical staff to update content while preserving accessibility and branding standards.
- Provide brand-compliant design assets, including templates, icons, and a digital style library.
- Conduct usability testing with respective user groups before launch.
- Deliver a design system/style guide for digital use to ensure long-term consistency.
- Establish post-launch support, including analytics set-up, reporting, and documentation.
