The Vendor is required to provide to procure reliable, secure, and scalable web hosting services to support its public-facing websites and internal applications.
- The City currently manages twenty-five (25) websites that provide critical information and services to residents, businesses, employees and stakeholders.
- These websites must be accessible 24/7, meet industry standards for security and performance, and comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- The City’s websites serve as a primary communication tool, offering access to online forms, payment processing, records, and other essential services. Ensuring high availability, data integrity, and user experience is critical to the success of the City’s digital engagement strategy.
- The current hosting environment is third-party utilizing cloud hosting services and the City is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide hosting solutions that are:
• Reliable and redundant to ensure minimal downtime
• Secure in accordance with industry best practices and compliance requirements
• Scalable to accommodate growth in web traffic and service demand
• Cost-effective while delivering consistent performance
- Activate pre-paid Service Buckets (25-hour increments) for website support, including:
• WordPress maintenance
• Page builds & features expansion
• Engineering support
• Migration support
• Content assistance, training, and documentation
• Design updates
• Other website-related requests
- Communicating and Reporting
• Contractor shall provide an hour summary report upon exhaustion of each bucket.
• Updates provided as 50%, 75%, and 100% completion.
• If additional hours are needed before a bucket is fully used, Contractor shall notify City before proceeding.
- Hosting & Server Management
• Dedicated Virtual Machines (VMs) for each site.
• Web Application Firewall for Security
• Custom Admin UI for managing VMS, DNS settings, analytics, and backups.
• Server tools, including caching, staging site management, and backup controls.
• Ongoing monitoring, security updates, and performance maintenance.
