RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide career preparation ecosystem website services could be a custom built website or a currently existing SaaS solution.
- We are creating eight career communities which will provide industry specific resources, contacts, guidance, etc. that any student can access regardless of their major on this site.

- Whether the final product is a custom-built Drupal website (one that staff would maintain after the custom build) or a product that serves as a virtual career preparation platform is the ultimate decision after review of future bids.
- Organizational goals
•    Become known as a leader in career preparation. 
•    Establish career communities that are industry-focused, major-agnostic. 
•    Deliver customized, industry-specific career resources for every student. 
•    Communicate the importance of gaining skills and (NACE) competencies. 
•    Communicate to prospective students and their families that their investment equates to career-ready graduates with a bright future. 
•    Engage our alumni and partner employers with our students in meaningful ways (mentorship, internships, job shadowing, practice interviews, jobs). 
•    While reorganizing the delivery of our career resources, capitalize on the current strengths of our college and school career services. 
•    Make that transition seamless (and invisible) to our students.
- Requirement:
•    Customized content per career community
•    Three career communities to be launched by June 30th (our additional five will be launched in the next year)
o    Integration: people grove, handshake, LinkedIn learning, events, etc.
•    Specific content for each career community, additional sections must be included to provide general information applicable to all users including, but not limited to:
o    Guidance for exploring students who are choosing their career path
o    General guidance on job searching, internships, networking, cover letters, resumes, etc. 
o    Guidance for students on how to access career services 
o    Information for employers who will visit the site so they can recruit students for internships or jobs. 
o    Information on career resources for specialized populations including (but not limited to) veterans, immigrant students, students with disabilities transfer students, etc.
•    Data sync with other platforms
o    Ability to integrate with campus platforms such as banner, people grove, handshake, LinkedIn learning, et al.
