An excellent hosting service will provide production, test, and development environments, integration with drush and Git version control, real time performance monitoring, and other Drupal-level support services.
- Datacenter and servers:
• The ability to create a secure network service to connect the Drupal environment with agency private network to provide access to internal databases (MySQL) that will interact with the public Drupal sites.
- The core Drupal environment is provided; such as individual instances, dedicated servers, containers for individual services or a collective cloud environment.
- Git integration and configuration options.
- The platform handle scaling for both sustained growth and traffic spikes (planned or unexpected) and what tools are available to agency administrators to monitor and manage capacity
- Provide information about named user accounts for the management of the Drupal environment
