Hosting and Programming Services

The Vendor is required to provide hosting and programming services for the existing Insurance Department Management System (IDMS) running on an IBM Power System, IBMi platform, hosting and programming for the existing Company Desktop running on a Linux server with Apache Tomcat with IBMi database, hosting for an existing MIZE DocCenter document management system running on Linux and Windows servers; and hosting and programming of the existing Securities division web-based custom application and DB2 database hosted on an IBM Power System, IBMi platform.
- Hosting service shall include:
•    Securely contained data centers, i.e. a locked area that a limited number of employees have access to.
•    Equipping, operating and monitoring the data center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
•    Hardware and operating system upgrades, such as service packs and program temporary fixes (PTFs)
•    Hardware and operating system maintenance contracts
•    Redundant server(s)/High Availability (HA) site, minimum two servers, two sites.
•    Nightly, weekly& monthly backups with offsite records storage – rotated to multiple sites, minimum two sites in two cities. Enough storage needed for current capacity and expansion. Current drive volumes allocated for both Insurance and Securities, all systems, at 13.7TB.
- These servers are configured as the application server and DR cache server for a custom-built document management system for our workers compensation files.
- Hosting service shall include:
•    Securely contained data centers, i.e. a locked area that a limited number of employees have access to.

•    Hardware and operating system upgrades, such as service packs and PTFs
•    Hardware and operating system maintenance contracts
- Division also needs hosting for production and disaster recovery (DR) Linux and Windows servers that are used for the MIZE DocCenter document management system.
