The Vendor is required to provide to obtain services from Companies capable of services to evaluate, remediate, and maintain agency public facing website(s) that must be compliant with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) WCAG 2.2 Level AA and related standards for agency -owned websites including all webpages per site and mobile sites.
- Accessibility Audit and Assessment
• Automated accessibility testing
• Manual accessibility testing by trained specialist
• Testing using assistive technologies (i.e. screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, etc.)
• Review of templates, navigation structures, forms, documents, and multimedia content
• Identification of current barriers affecting users with:
o Visual impairments
o Hearing impairments
o Motor disabilities
o Cognitive disabilities
- Products and Services in correcting identified accessibility issues including:
• Adding alternative text for images
• Ensuring keyboard navigability
• Correction heading structures and semantic HTML
• Improving color contrasts and ratios
• Adding accessible labels to forms and buttons
• Ensuring PDF accessibility and downloadable documents
• Captioning and transcripts for multimedia
- Staff Training
• Provide training to agency staff responsible for maintaining the website content
o How to create accessible web content
o How to upload accessible PDFs and media
o Ongoing accessibility best practices.
