The Vendor is required to provide create, install and host within university current website an off-campus housing website.
- Currently working with an outside housing services vendor to assist students with obtaining housing from local rental establishments.
- This website will contain all associated data, tables, and login pages created for agency use.
• Build within the application a searchable database for the listing of off campus properties available to students, with search fields customized for school’s neighborhoods and terminology. The building of the database does not include entry of the data itself, which function shall be performed by property listers or by school.
• Include on each page of the website an obvious notice that disclaims school’s responsibility for and highlights the absence of any recommendation or guarantee with respect to any property listing or physical property.
• Work with school’s designated technology employee to embed the technology in school’s existing website, maintaining the “look and feel” of the school website when users link to the hosted service.
• Market for school the official off-campus housing website to prospective property listers through targeted advertising which may include local advertising, direct mail, telemarketing, and face-to-face sales visits.
• Collect listing fees.
• Ensure inclusion in the customized site of (a) message boards for the posting of roommate and furniture needs, (b) housing materials submitted by school for digital posting, such materials possibly to include school’s off-campus housing handbook and a checklist for prospective tenants, and (c) property listing fields that accommodate up to three (3) photos or graphic images of listed properties and link to maps, and ability to email property managers.
• Jointly with school, develop a user agreement that, among its provisions, disclaims responsibility for, and highlights the absence of any recommendation or guarantee with respect to any property listing or physical property.
• Provide product support to school and users via a customer service email account.
• Regularly install technology upgrades to the hosted servers as soon as generally available so that school receives the benefit of all enhancements and improvements to the technology. Awarded vendor will notify school by email of any upgrades that affect functionality.
• Perform regular monthly backups of site data.
• Provide a tool for school to generate reports on site statistics, including number of users, number of listings, and names of property listers, and provide an annual report of revenue collected.
