The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive AI-driven site search and personalization solution for website and university web properties.
- Unified Search Experience: Provide a search platform capable of indexing and managing content across multiple University web properties, domains, and subdomains through a unified administration model while still allowing site-specific controls, profiles, or result experiences where appropriate.
- AI-Enhanced Search: Provide advanced search capabilities such as semantic relevance, natural language query handling, smart answers or answer-first experiences, query assistance, synonym management, and other AI-supported tools that improve the accuracy and usefulness of results.
- Search Administration and Governance: Include tools for promoting results, tuning rankings, managing synonyms, curating featured results, handling no-results queries, and applying business rules that reflect University terminology and priorities.
- Analytics and Reporting: Provide analytics dashboards and reporting for search usage, top queries, click-through behavior, low-performing queries, zero-result searches, content gaps, engagement, and other metrics needed to guide ongoing optimization and leadership reporting.
- Implementation, Training, and Support: Provide implementation services, configuration, testing, launch support, administrator training, end-user documentation, and ongoing customer success and technical support. Contractors should describe the proposed implementation timeline, required University resources, and post-launch support model.
- Integration and Technical Fit: Describe compatibility with Drupal and related web technologies, available APIs and modules, security and authentication considerations, indexing methods, and the approach for integrating with the University's existing digital environment.
