The Vendor is required to provide hosting, migration, support and maintenance services for the college’s enterprise level, Drupal-based website as set forth in university.
- Previously supported Drupal 10 website with dedicated knowledge and support for upgrades to Drupal 11 and provide servers that run on a Linux server with either apache or Nginx web server.
- Drupal-based website hosting infrastructure that can support the following conditions and scale accordingly at no additional cost to college based on the website’s growth:
• Number of users: 3,593 (414 content editors)
• Number of user roles: 15
• Number of pages: 23,639 (21,906 published)
• Number of content types: 13
• Number of modules in use: 248installed (263 disabled and unavailable)
• Annual views: 33 million
• Annual session: 1.7 million
- Provide and execute the following support services
• Provide servers that run on a Linux server with either an apache or Nginx web server.
• Unlimited space for file storage.
• Upload and page speeds under eight (8) seconds on average in the country.
• Handle and scale the website in instances of traffic spikes due to large format events streaming via and running the website
• 95% (or better) server uptime
• Built-in development/test/live environments.
• Automatic daily backups of the website’s code, files, and database in all environments to tar.gz or zip files to be made available for at least 30 days which can be quickly deployed in cases of disaster recovery.
• Provide migration assistance, either hands-on or instruction based via documentation, with the college’s external websites needing to be migrated from their position(s) off of the old content management system (“CMS”) to the new CMS.
• 24/7 customer service support to correct any errors that users experience in real time.
- Functionality requirements:
• Secure shell environment if updates to DRUPAL core and modules must be done via drush.
• Content delivery network (“CDN”) system enabled to handle traffic surges.
• A platform friendly to code changes via file transfer protocol (“ftp) or secure file transfer protocol (“SFTP”), GIT, and composer.
