The Vendor is required to provide arts and culture website design, multi-venue environments, and spektrix integration, who can deliver a secure, accessible, scalable website that enhances customer experience, supports staff workflows, and advances agency organizational and revenue goals.
- Ticketing software as its enterprise system for ticket sales, patron management, memberships, and donations. To fully realize the capabilities of this system, agency requires a modern, commerce-friendly website that supports deep API integration with Spektrix, provides an intuitive user experience, and supports multiple venues, spaces, and program types within a unified digital ecosystem.
- Website Strategy, Design, and Architecture
• Design a user-centered, mobile-responsive website representing the agency, including multiple facilities, venues, spaces, and program areas.
• Develop an information architecture that supports:
o Multiple venues and rooms
o Overlapping event calendars
o Filtering by date, venue, genre, program type, and audience
o Ticketed and non-ticketed programs
• Support the potential for sub-sites or microsites for individual facilities or programs, as needed
- Spektrix integration
• Implement direct integration with spektrix ticketing software, using APIS, web components, and/or iframes as appropriate.
• Support core user flows including, but not limited to:
o Event discovery and filtering
o Seat selection
o Shopping cart and checkout
o Donations, memberships, and upsells
o Patron “my account” functionality
• Ensure continuity of the user experience without unnecessary redirection away from the agency website.
• Enable preloading and staging of events prior to public on-sale dates.
- Content management system (CMS)
• Provide a CMS that allows tac staff to:
o Easily update content
o Add and edit pages
o Manage events, images, and basic layout elements
• Minimize reliance on vendor support for routine content updates.
- Hosting, security, and performance
• Provide or propose a secure hosting solution for the website.
• Ensure compatibility with city network and security requirements, including the ability for city users to access and manage the site without security conflicts.
• Address performance, scalability, backups, disaster recovery, and uptime.
• Ensure the site can handle high-traffic on-sale periods.
- Ongoing maintenance and support
• Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical support.
• Clearly define service levels, response times, and support processes.
• Identify what level of routine changes or updates are included versus billed separately.
