The vendor is required website services that will begin when a new website is being built/ has been built and deployed that include WCAG 2.2 AA compliant pages.
- Primary website needs:
• Deliver a fully WCAG 2.2 AA–compliant website with inclusive design baked into every component.
• Improve usability, navigation, and search across all content and services.
• Provide a modern, mobile-first interface with reusable components that works across devices and assistive technologies.
• Ensure mobile-first, responsive layouts across all breakpoints.
• Integrate key library systems (ILS, digital resources).
• Simplify content management for staff through a robust, user-friendly CMS.
• Strengthen community engagement through events, storytelling, and service visibility.
• Ability to embed third-party code (Analytics, LibCal, Evergreen, etc.)
- CMS must:
• Support non-technical staff with intuitive editing tools
• Allow multiple flexible page templates and reusable components
• Provide role-based permissions
• Include versioning, draft/publish workflows, and audit logs
• Support structured content for future API use
• Offer built-in accessibility checks (preferred)
• Open-source (Drupal, WordPress) or enterprise CMS platforms are acceptable.
