The Vendor is required to provide website design and development services for include:
• Provide a simple, efficient, and intuitive user experience through a clear, consistent, and uncluttered design layout.
• The website should present a professional appearance and consistently represent council in its interactions with agencies, businesses, community organizations, and the public.
• Create a searchable document library that allows users to easily locate, view, and download documents, agendas, reports, maps, forms, and related materials.
• Integration with council social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram (grid view), LinkedIn, and other applicable channels.
• Access to general information about council, including meeting agendas and minutes, current projects and developments, organizational information, public notices, and searchable website content.
• Include intuitive and consistent navigation features throughout the website, including clear pathways back to the homepage and key content areas.
• Reserves the right to transfer the website at the conclusion of the contract period.
• Describe how website code, databases, files, and content would be transferred to council or another platform.
• Administrative reporting capabilities related to website activity and performance.
• Include on-site or virtual training for designated council staff (up to eight users) to ensure staff can effectively manage website content and administration.
