- Core System & Design Refresh
1. Modern architecture: implement a supported, highly secure, scalable WordPress environment or recommended enterprise-grade CMS approved by GVSU IT.
2. Create a modern visual layout honoring Michigan SBDC brand guidelines.
3. Responsive performance: optimized speed and layouts across all mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
- Maintenance of Existing Functionality
The new site must seamlessly retain and optimize all existing features, including:
1. Multilingual Support: Native, seamless translation options (specifically maintaining Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese language views)
2. Resource & Training Events and On-Demand Library: Seamless integration with our business education webinars, on-demand content, and downloadable materials. This currently links to Blackthorne and Google Forms.
- New Feature Integration: Centralized Intake Form and Calendar Scheduling
1. The system must provide the capability to create and host dedicated web pages that support third-party form embeds (e.g., FormAssembly or equivalent tools).
2. Embedded forms (Form Assembly or equivalent) must maintain active integration with Salesforce, ensuring data captured upon form submission maps accurately to specified Salesforce objects/records.
3. The system must support hosting landing pages specifically designed to display thirdparty appointment scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly or equivalent).
4. Embedded calendar widgets must dynamically resize and function seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
5. Website buttons that currently link to current registration form are replaced with and linked to the new (November) Centralized Intake landing page.
