Web and Creative Design Services for Communications and Community Engagement Office
1. Website and microsite creation within the current website development environment (Sitecore). Website top level navigation and footers cannot be changed, unless agreed to by the City.
2. Ensure full compliance with the latest WCAG
3. Create templates that require alt text and other accessibility features
4. Front-end development for webpages and microsites – HTML, CSS, JS, and backend Sitecore development.
5. New website front-end code is to be written to integrate into the existing website structure and available libraries – CSS is compiled through SASS; jQuery 2 is available for use.
6. The City’s Sitecore environment is a Sitecore 9.1.1 or later installation in a mixed Web Forms and Sitecore MVC environment. Sitecore xDB is not available for use.
7. Work with City team on web, print, digital, video, etc. Design concepts.
8. Design social graphics and reusable templates to align with City branding.
9. Up to 50 flexible graphic design, layout, or illustration hours per month for 12 months.
10. All deliverables must be accepted by the City of Cambridge staff assigned to manage this project.
11. Dedicated project manager assigned to the City of Cambridge with regular virtual check in calls (as determined by the city) to review current work and project status.
12. Samples - The Contractor shall include as part of their submission materials samples of web, print, social, digital, and video content they created with and for similar clients. The samples shall be submitted in an electronic format like Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF.

o Update and extend existing City Brand Guidelines
o Develop various department and program-specific/initiative branding

o Create easy-to-use guided design templates (PPT, inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for city staff members to create professional-looking presentations & designs.
