Accounting Services

The vendor is required to provide accounting services for include:
1. financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and governmental accounting standards board (GASB) requirements.
• Assistance with the implementation of new accounting standards.
2. Budgeting
• Assistance with the city’s annual budget.
3. Audit support
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assistance with addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
4. Grants and compliance
• Assistance with federal, state, and local grant reporting and compliance.
5. Internal controls and policy development
• Review and recommend improvements to internal controls.
• Development of financial policies and procedures.
6. Ad-hoc financial consulting
• Assistance with special financial projects as requested by city management.
• Training for city staff on financial procedures and systems.
