The vendor is required to provide to assist the commission in starting the process for a SOC 2 audit.
 - The purpose of this engagement is to perform an initial assessment and provide recommendations for the ccc of requirements and next steps in preparing and executing the SOC 2 audits.
- While the timeline is tight, this work could be completed by the end of the fiscal year.
- This will focus on standard SOC 2 preparation and not a deeper pre-audit effort at this time.
- If funding becomes available, we would move forward with a full pre-audit readiness assessment, gap analysis and remediation, and audit support.
- Contractors should identify why their experience, skills or expertise are superior and best suited for this engagement, why contractor is the best partner and the best economic value for this engagement and what additional benefits an engagement with the contractor would provide the eligible entity.
- Engagement specific skills, expertise required for this engagement.  
• Experience supporting soc 2 preparation engagements
• Ability to deliver appropriate templates and checklists (e.g., internal controls, policies)
• Capacity to complete work within a short timeline (by June 30, 2025).
