The Vendor is required to provide financial literacy education to middle school and/or high school aged youth living in poverty in county services.
- Bidder will be assessed, including financial solvency, fiscal capacity, and evaluation of prior audits or financial reviews.
- Legal entities are eligible to submit a proposal:
• Government agencies
• Private non-profit organizations
• Private for-profit businesses
• Educational Entities
- Applicants will propose programming that serves not fewer than 200 middle school and /or high school students in County living in poverty.
- Applicants will propose a program model/design that addresses the needs of the target population. Required elements are:
1. Collaborate with community partners and establish linkages to education, workforce development, and other resources to meet immediate and long-term needs. Providers will either directly or through referrals:
• Facilitate financial literacy education to middle school and/or high school aged youth who are living in poverty;
• Provide linkages to other community programs that support financial literacy education.
2. Peer input in program design and implementation
3. Utilization of promising practices, best practices and/or evidence-based practices demonstrating that the strategy has verifiable outcomes.
