- Provide sales and use tax audit and recovery services, as well as forecasting services.
- Provide reliable forecasting to support strategic and operational planning
- Forecasting Services
1. Each quarter, as soon as data is available, Consultant shall provide sales and use tax reports that include the following information:
• Actuals to date
• Actuals for the most recent quarter
• Comparisons to previous year(s)
• A forecast for next quarter
• Cash receipts analysis
• Regional Comparison
• Quarterly changes
• Per Capita sales tax charts
• Historical trend analysis
• Top 100 businesses
• Other reports that may be requested by agency
2. Provide an annual comparison report of historical forecasts to actuals each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
3. Provide a 5 year and 10-year forecast (by year) upon agency request to include Optimistic, Pessimistic, and Most Probable
4. Provide reports or access to reports that contain the following:
• Economic reports
• Cash trends and distribution summaries
• Geo Area Reports and GIS maps
- Receive and process quarterly sales and use tax payment distribution reports provided by the agency
