Joint Use Pole Audit Services

The Vendor is required to provide for a complete joint use pole audit of all utility poles within the agency service territory.
- Third party fiber or cable attachments on each pole
•    Owner of attachment
•    Height of attachment
•    How attached:
o    J-hook - if that is the only attachment on the pole
o    Thru-bolt
- Third party attachment violations
•    Description of violation
•    Including pictures
•    Pole location (GPS coordinates)
- Third party equipment attachments (and ownership)
•    Antenna on board distribution poles and AT&T communication poles
•    Antenna on customer-owned steel poles with board streetlight attachments
•    Antenna on customer-owned wood poles with power source from board
•    Camera on board distribution poles
•    Camera on board concrete streetlight poles
•    Communication risers fiber and power risers
•    Power supplies
- Double wood locations
•    Include pictures
•    Identify attachments needing to be transferred
•    Pole location data (GPS coordinates)
- Missing tags for equipment and fiber identification
•    Attachment owner
•    Include pictures
•    Pole location (GPS coordinates) of missing tag
- Safety issues that need immediate review (e.g. Communications wires too close to secondary, rotted pole, etc.)
•    Include pictures
•    Description of safety issue
•    Pole location (GPS coordinates).
