The Vendor is required to provide security personnel and crowd management services at the as needed for county special events at other facilities.
- General Duties
• Provide a visible presence to discourage theft, vandalism, trespassing, or any criminal or unauthorized activity.
• Enforce all parks policy and procedural standards that include facility and/or park specific limitations.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing the movement of crowds to ensure public safety.
• Handle unruly guest and guest evictions when necessary.
• Recognize and respond to security threats.
• Notify the appropriate law enforcement agency of any unlawful activity immediately.
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations and safety hazards, such as fire alarms, power outages, and medical emergencies.
• Report vandalism, graffiti, and maintenance issues promptly to parks staff.
• Bill the county per event providing a cost estimate of professional services prior to the event. This includes detailed billing per staff member, per hour and any additional costs.
• Bill third party entities directly for their agreed upon services if the county requires professional event services to maintain public safety at well-attended non-County sponsored events or gatherings.
- Provide security and/or crowd management services for a minimum of 4-hour shifts per day per event.
- Security and crowd management personnel assigned to perform work shall wear uniforms at all times.
