The Vendor is required to provide for traffic data collection services in the city.
- Services to support traffic safety and operations related services under the traffic safety and operations group to warrant required safeguard systems for the public on city roads.
- The Traffic Count Program will include the following:
• Turning Movement Counts (TMC) at up to 225 intersections per year (625 over three years);
• Midblock Turning Movement Counts/Pedestrian counts at up to 10 locations per year (30 over three years)
• 72 Hour Automatic Traffic Recorder (ATR) counts including volume, speed and vehicle classification data at up to 300 locations per year (775 over three years);
• 7 Day Automatic Traffic Recorder (ATR) counts including volume, speed and vehicle classification data at up to 100 locations per year (275 over three years);
• Stop Compliance Studies at up to 30 locations per year (90 over three years): and
• Parking Studies at up to 15 locations per year (45 over three years).
- 8-hour parking studies will classify vehicle parking behaviour on streets. Dates and times will be specified on an as need basis by City Staff.
- The .pdf files for ATRs shall contain volume, speed, and vehicle classification by direction (as well as combined directions) and by hour.
