The Vendor is required to provide green and black cart collection service for include:
- Fully automated collection of garbage
• Collection shall be fully automated, servicing 120 l, 240 l and 360 l black carts from customers on an alternating every other week collection schedule year-round based on the collection zone.
• On any given collection day, roughly half of the scheduled customers will receive black cart collection.
- Fully automated collection of source separated organics
• Collection shall be fully automated, servicing 120 l and 240 l green carts from customers. Collection will be weekly during the growing season, starting the first Monday of April until the second Friday of November, after which alternating every other week collection begins.
• Every other week collection will alternate between collection zones, on opposite weeks to black cart collection.
- Delivery of garbage to the designated disposal facility
• Once collected, garbage from the black carts shall be delivered to the designated disposal facility for disposal.
- Collection of extra yard waste
• Customers shall be permitted to set out extra yard waste materials, once their green carts are full, all year-round.
- Delivery of source separated organics to the designated compost facility
• Once collected, source separated organics from the green carts and extra yard waste shall be delivered to the designated compost facility for composting.
- Cart management tasks
• Tasks include the assembly, delivery, maintenance, repair, removal and exchange of green carts and black carts from the provided inventory and other tasks associated with the management of the provided inventory
- Data collection
• Data collection, and the provision of such data to the city, shall be required to track the services delivered.
