The Vendor is required to provide conducting executive searches to identify, evaluate, and recruit experienced development leaders with a track record of success to fill executive level roles for office.
- Inquiry & Customization
• Partner with university development leaders to determine process, roles, internal/external communications, and high‑level timeline.
• Meet with internal leadership and designated stakeholders to confirm needs, determine ideal profiles and candidate requirements.
• Draft a position description describing role purpose, responsibilities, qualifications, key performance indicators and a compelling overview of the opportunity and organization.
• Develop a search strategy (targets, sectors, organizations, and individual profiles).
• Present initial candidate landscape for university development feedback and calibration.
- Identification, Assessment & Reporting
• Conduct research; leveraging Contractor’s network and prior candidate databases.
• Execute structured outreach to prospective candidates and sources; assess qualifications, motivation, and preliminary fit.
• Hold regular status meetings with university Development Staff to provide progress updates.
- Vetting & Presentation
• Deliver candidates and facilitate interview process from start (intake) to finish (offer), providing updates throughout the process.
• Conduct first‑round phone/video screens; eliminate unqualified or uninterested candidates.
• Conduct in‑depth second‑round interviews (competency/behavioral evaluation against success profile).
• Conduct preliminary confidential referencing as appropriate.
• Present Candidate Shortlist and align with university Development on semifinalists; coordinate university Development interviews; assist with interview plan and evaluation scoring tools.
• Provide Interview Coordination Support.
- Selection/Recruitment
• Maintain close contact with finalists to monitor motivation, competing processes, and risks; provide feedback to the university Development Staff.
• Upon university selection of a finalist, conduct deep due diligence: comprehensive confidential referencing, education/credential checks, and other checks as permitted.
• Support offer strategy, presentation, and negotiation at university request.
- Follow Up Activities
• Notify unsuccessful candidates and sources regarding outcome, preserving goodwill.
• Conduct Search Retrospective with university Development (satisfaction, lessons learned, and improvements).
• Provide Final Closeout Report (search metrics, source efficacy, timeline variance, improvements).
