The Vendor is required to provide for non-benefit temporary workers (workers will not receive employee benefits), and payroll services for temporary workers on short, long and seasonal assignments.
- Provide, on an as needed basis, temporary services of non-benefit workers as they relate to clerical, secretarial, data entry operators, account clerks, word processing specialists, maintenance, and various seasonal laborers.
- These workers will be paid at the staffing agency rate or the entry plus mark-up rate, dependent upon whether or not county identified the candidates in advance.
- Payroll services for temporary workers:
• These temporary workers will be paid at the salary rate established by county plus the mark-up rate of the agency.
• Employ non-benefit temporary workers for short term, long term and seasonal assignments for county.
• These temporary workers will be paid at the entry rate established by county plus the established markup rate.
• The chosen agency will bear sole responsibility for paying statutory payroll taxes, issue w-2 forms, calculate, prepare and issue payroll checks for all hours worked as approved by the requesting department.
• The chosen agency shall prepare and file any reports, returns, or similar papers as required by any local, state or federal government.
