The vendor is required to provide youth emergency shelter support, bidder shall assist individuals aged 16 up to 24 year of age who are experiencing homelessness and mental health or substance use disorders.
- Low barrier shelter provision:
• Aged 16 up to 24 years of age who are not in state custody.
• Have diagnosable mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
• Experiencing homelessness or in imminent risk of homelessness.
• Willing to engage and actively participate in appropriate outpatient treatment services.
• Prioritization for youth exiting psychiatric hospitalization into homelessness.
- Housing transition support:
• Offering intensive recovery support.
• Help clients identify and transition to transitional or permanent housing as appropriate within 60 days of entry.
