The vendor required to provide IT managed services to support and lead the town’s IT infrastructure framework.

• Utilization of reliable and secure wireless radio connectivity.
• Implement and manage an enterprise virtualization platform.
• Coordination of backup and data migration management.
• Routine maintenance, updates, audits and testing.
• Guaranteed 24/7 helpdesk support and on-site support as-needed with a corresponding service level agreement.
• Defined termination terms and obligations to include the return of data and orderly transition assistance.
• Act as the IT liaison to provide system architecture details, recommendations and specifications when required by 3rd -party software provider.
- Requirement:
• Initial inventory assessment and recommendations
• Strategic IT planning and alignment to corporate plan
• Development of an IT asset maintenance, migration, and emergency and disaster plan
• Provide support and liaise with 3rd party software vendors when required (such instances may include implementation, upgrades, or application decommissioning)
• Network segmentation and security provisions between SCADA and IT networks
• Establish secure VPN connections to link remote sites to central infrastructure
• Multi-factor authentication and use of access controls including implementation of active directory for centralized authentication and policy enforcement
• Provide up-to-date anti-virus and security patches on all systems
• Migration plan to replace current enterprise virtualization platform
• Provide routine backup and test restoration processes
• Provide remote monitoring solutions and support for isolated locations
• Provide options or opportunities for training to users affected by IT changes or improvements
• Update wireless radio equipment to meet standards
• Maintain a program to provide testing and maintenance of wireless infrastructure
• Centralized management and coordination of 3rd party IT suppliers.
• Ongoing support via helpdesk, or onsite – in person
• Provide reporting on a quarterly basis
• Stay up-to-date on industry best and provide recommendations or IT protocol and processes requiring updates or changes
• Provide budgetary estimates for software, hardware, peripherals, and services by the beginning of October of the calendar year.
• Access to information act and protection of privacy act compliance and applicable industry best standards.
