Outside Counsel Services

The vendor is required to provide outside counsel will advise and assist the department in connection with the following matters: satisfying environmental review requirements under the national environmental policy act; obtaining appropriate permits; and complying with environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
- Outside counsel will provide general legal advice on environmental matters, including both state and federal requirements.
- Outside counsel will also appear before administrative and judicial tribunals, in conjunction with the office of the attorney general (AG), to answer charges of a civil or criminal nature.
