Legal Assistance Services

The Vendor is required to provide legal assistance for older adults of county as requested by the department for aging.
- Provide legal education and outreach to inform older adults of the legal services.
- Assures accessibility of their legal assistance throughout county and shall effectuate a legal assistance on-site intake schedule which will include a summary of number of hours of on-site intake per week with specific emphasis on serving those with the most pressing economic and social needs.
- Legal advice, counseling and representation by an attorney or other person acting under the supervision of an attorney shall be summarized as one 1 unit of service equals one (1) hour.
- Legal assistance services shall be recorded to track case status, case type, service level, client characteristics and service units for each client.
