- TLAP is one of these programs, aimed at promoting justice, dignity, health, security, and maximum autonomy for older adults, particularly those with the greatest social or economic need, by protecting and enforcing their legal rights and advancing systemic change through broad elder rights advocacy
- TLAP Services are designed primarily to provide legal advice and representation from licensed attorneys to older adults and unpaid family caregivers.
- TLAP aims to deliver high-quality, high-impact, and cost-effective services that address the unmet legal needs of eligible clients.
- Services may include legal counseling or other appropriate assistance provided by a licensed attorney, or by a paralegal or law student under the direct supervision of an attorney.
