The Vendor is required to provide legal services for civil rights matters.
- Provide comprehensive legal services in the area of civil rights which includes but is not limited to:
• Provide legal advice and representation of agency in legal proceedings, administrative hearings, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes;
• Draft and submit all necessary pre-litigation notices, claims, and legal pleadings;
• Provide evaluation and strategy development for civil rights matters, including recommendations, action plans, and timeline for key milestones;
• Engage with necessary third parties on agency behalf to resolve disputes, such as opposing counsel and insurance companies;
• Demonstrate efficient management of assignments and timely legal support;
• Provide regular status reports on the progress of the matters assigned to the firm;
• Identify and immediately notify agency of any potential conflicts of interest which may arise during the period of performance, and undertake the necessary immediate steps to eliminate the source of the potential conflict to the satisfaction of agency;
• Provide any additional legal services as mutually agreed upon by both parties; and
• Legal services may be requested by agency president and CEO, agency general counsel, or their designees.
