The Vendor is required to provide legal services for commercial litigation, including breach of contract and insurance disputes.
- Provide affordable homes and services to more than 60,000 low-income county, including over 17,000 families housed through the housing choice voucher program (HCVP), 4,200 living in 19 public housing and tax credit developments, and an additional 716 in project-based voucher developments around the city.
- Provide comprehensive legal services in the area of commercial litigation, including breach of contract and insurance disputes which includes but is not limited to:
• Provide legal advice and representation of authority in legal proceedings, administrative hearings, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes;
• Draft and submit all necessary pre-litigation notices, claims, and legal pleadings;
• Provide evaluation and strategy development for commercial legal matters, including recommendations, action plans, and timeline for key milestones;
• Engage with necessary third parties on authority behalf to resolve disputes, such as opposing counsel and insurance companies;
• Demonstrate efficient management of assignments and timely legal support;
• Provide regular status reports on the progress of the matters assigned to the firm;
• Identify and immediately notify authority of any potential conflicts of interest which may arise during the period of performance, and undertake the necessary immediate steps to eliminate the source of the potential conflict to the satisfaction of authority ;
• Provide any additional legal services as mutually agreed upon by both parties; and
• Legal services may be requested by authority president and CEO, authority general counsel, or their designees.
