Professional Legal Services

The vendor required to provide professional legal services for farmland, open space and historic preservation program counsel.
- Farmland preservation program:
•    Review of appraisals and engineering reports, negotiation of contracts and easements, closing on the purchase of properties, where requested, and providing general representation to the agricultural development board including attendance at the agricultural development board meetings. 
•    Advise and provide documentation for deed of easement enforcement issues.
- Open space preservation program:
•    Review of appraisals and engineering reports, negotiation of acquisition contracts and easements, closing on the purchase of properties. 
•    Advise and provide documentation for deed of easement enforcement issues. 
•    Provide representation to the open space preservation board, including attendance at the open space preservation board meetings when needed, review of project agreements and other documents related to the county open space assistance program.
- Historic preservation program:
•    Review of appraisals and engineering reports, negotiation of contracts and easements, closing on the purchase of properties. 
•    Advise and provide documentation for deed of easement enforcement issues.
