RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide immigration legal services to individuals that are entitled to counsel by law. 
- Contractor shall have experience in advising clients and/or attorneys on immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
- Contractor shall be well-versed in common non-immigrant and immigrant visas, removability grounds, inadmissibility grounds, common forms of relief from removal, the categorical approach, the immigration consequences of common state offenses, and in immigration consequences research methods.
- Conduct all necessary research, attorney consultation, and provide advice verbally or in writing as determined necessary by the assigned counsel.
- The transcription request shall accompany confirmation from Contractor that the audio has been reviewed in its entirety for clarity and auditability and includes only what is necessary to the case.
- Responsibility for all salaries, wages, bonuses, retirement withholdings, worker's compensation, and other employee benefits as well as all taxes and premiums relating to such persons, and shall defend, indemnify and hold the county harmless for any and all claims, suits, liability and damages which the county may incur because of contractor’s failure to pay such taxes or obligations.
