- Requirement:
• Provide legal advice to the department concerning the potential impact of federal energy statutory and regulatory issues, policies, and constitutional provisions that may implicate or affect state renewable energy initiatives, policies, and generation authority.
• In carrying out and performing any such specified, requested and accepted undertaking, the successful bidder shall at all times exercise its own best judgment based upon its knowledge and expertise; it shall also maintain familiarity with current developments in this specialized field of law practice, and in so doing shall not be subject to direction, supervision, or control by or from any others in the actual performance of such functions and services, except as directed by the department.
