Outside Counsel Services

The vendor required to provide outside counsel to assist in legal and advisory matters relative to the acquisition of right-of-way and other real property needed for state highway purposes.
- Requirement:
•    Provide advice and assistance to the department bureau of right of way (“row”) during the acquisition process. 
•    This responsibility can require that title be verified and corrected, if necessary, familiarization with the right-of-way, and if available, construction plans, review of and advice concerning appraisals, communication with department field staff, right of way staff, design staff, and the landowner or his or her representative.
