The Vendor is required to provide legal services and legal representation required by the plan are as follows:
• Legal representation and attendance at any and all workers' compensation pre-hearings, motion return dates, hearings, trials, or other proceedings on behalf of the plan.
• If necessary, it is anticipated that the attorneys will also represent the plan in any related court proceedings or administrative proceedings before other agencies with jurisdiction.
• Preparation, filing and service of any and all pleadings, motions, papers, documents, appeals, and related materials with regard to legal representation of the plan, as stated herein.
• Working with medical and lay witnesses and obtaining statements, affidavits, testimony, and other information that may be necessary in connection with legal representation of the plan, as aforementioned.
• Preparation of documents and legal representation for WCL section 32 agreements.
• With regard to the special funds conservation committee, preparation of documents and representation to obtain any and all concessions available.
• Providing follow-up written reports to the plan, as soon as practicable but not later than five (5) business days after the activity outlined above occurred, and such reports shall
• Contain detailed descriptions of the legal representation and proceedings, along with recommendations to the plan concerning each particular case.
• Providing general advice and legal counsel to the plan with regard to the state workers compensation law, and amendments or additions to existing laws, and the application of laws to the worker compensation claims assigned to proposer, as well as application of such laws to the plan.
• Responding to general legal questions that may come up from time to time from the concerning state workers' compensation laws.
