Legal Services

The Vendor is required to provide legal services to the Board.
- Requires additional competent legal counsel services due to the volume of work required by the board.
- The designated attorney may bill for the services of a paralegal or other administrative staff for research or other administrative services for a fee not to exceed the agreed upon fee schedule.
- May be requested to provide testimony during such appearances regarding the drafting decisions made in relation to such bills or drafts of legislation, provided, however, in relation to such appearances, that the Contractor shall not testify as to policy, or appear unless accompanied by a representative of the agency.
- Other legislative matters, including lobbying activities and legislative agent activities, are not included in these services.
