Legal Services

The Vendor is required to provide for legal services from certified, competent, and fully capable firms with substantiated successful experience in various disciplines as described herein with educational institutions and/or organizations.
- Finance:
• School finance issues
• Intergovernmental contracts and relations
• Competitive bidding process
• State procurement laws and regulations
• Governmental contracting, bidding, construction, and procurement issues
- Employment:
• Employment contracts and other related employment and personnel matters
• Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504, and other state and federal laws relating to discrimination and accommodation in public schools (Employees)
• Civil Rights, free speech, and other state and federal constitutional law issues.
